Designer Florals, Floor Covering & Seating
Silk floral arrangements crown the top of the structure, 10 feet of color and texture that catch the light and frame the couple below. Floor covering grounds the ceremony space, soft seating gives the couple a natural resting point between rituals, and accent floor decor fills in the last details. In our experience, the combination of drapery, florals, and floor coverage is what makes the Mandap feel like its own room rather than a prop placed on a lawn. We have styled Mandap ceremonies at venues across Bellevue, Redmond, Lake Stevens, and throughout King and Snohomish County.

Drapery Wall (up to 20 ft wide)
The drapery wall is the foundation of every stage backdrop. Flowing fabric panels in whites and neutrals create a clean, luminous canvas for the rest of your design. We use high-quality materials that drape naturally and catch light beautifully. In our experience, drapery that reads as flat or stiff in photographs undermines the entire setup, so we select fabrics specifically for how they photograph under venue lighting. Our panels are custom-sized for each space. They look just as stunning in a banquet hall in Everett as in a private estate in Snohomish.
Custom Silk Florals (10 ft to 30 ft+)
The floral arrangement is where your color palette comes to life. We build custom silk floral arches and cascading arrangements that span the top of the backdrop, creating a lush focal point for your ceremony photos. A modern loft venue in Woodinville calls for a minimal, sculptural arch. A traditional hall in Marysville pairs better with full cascading garlands.
Seating, Lighting & Floor Candles
The finishing elements bring warmth and dimension to your stage. Soft tufted seating, chandelier lighting, and floor candles create an inviting, layered atmosphere that feels intimate even in large venues. Mandap & Stage Backdrop FAQs
A Mandap is a freestanding four-post structure (10 ft x 10 ft x 10 ft) with drapery panels on all four walls, designed as a canopy for Hindu and South Asian ceremonies. A stage backdrop is a flat drapery wall (12 ft to 20 ft wide) with silk florals, lighting, and seating arranged in front, designed for wedding receptions, celebrations, and general events. Both include custom florals, soft seating, and full delivery and setup.
The Mandap package ($1,500) includes the modern luxury Mandap structure (10 ft x 10 ft x 10 ft), drapery panels on all four walls, 10 ft of custom designer florals, floor covering, modern soft seating, accent floor decor, and full delivery, setup, and takedown. A drapery roof panel is available as an add-on for $200, bringing the combined total to $1,700.
We offer four stage backdrop tiers. The Mini Classic Stage Setup ($460) is a compact 10 ft x 10 ft backdrop with drapery panels, 4 ft florals, a chandelier, and battery-operated floor candles. The Classic Stage Backdrop ($850) includes a 12 ft x 14 ft drapery wall, 10 ft x 10 ft accent backdrop, 10 ft+ silk florals, soft seating, chandelier lighting, and floor candles. We offer a design consultation where we discuss your preferences, review inspiration images, and plan the exact floral colors, drapery tones, and accent elements. Our specialty is pastel and neutral palettes, but we work with a wide range of color schemes.
No. We use exclusively high-end silk and faux florals for all stage backdrops and Mandap setups. These premium materials are selected because they look stunning under event lighting, hold their shape throughout multi-hour events, photograph beautifully, and cause no allergy issues. They are indistinguishable from fresh flowers in photos.
Yes, and many clients do exactly this. You can pair a Mandap or stage backdrop with drapery installations or tabletop floral add-ons for a complete event transformation. We coordinate the color palette and design across every setup so everything feels cohesive. Ask about combination pricing during your consultation.
Setup typically takes 2 to 4 hours depending on the package tier and venue. Mandap structures are on the longer end of that range. We coordinate arrival time with your venue and event timeline, whether your event is in Lynnwood, Bothell, or anywhere in the greater Seattle area. Our team handles every aspect of installation and styling, and we return after the event to break everything down.
Yes. We offer outdoor stage backdrop and Mandap setups and adapt our installation approach for outdoor conditions. We secure all elements safely and account for wind, terrain, and weather. Outdoor setups may require additional equipment, which we discuss during your consultation.
The Mandap structure requires a minimum 10 ft x 10 ft footprint plus clearance for guest seating around the perimeter. Stage backdrops require 12 to 20 feet of wall width depending on the tier, and about 8 to 10 feet of floor depth for the seating area and decor. During your consultation, we review your venue floor plan and recommend the best package and layout for the room. We have worked in spaces of all sizes, from intimate cultural centers in Shoreline to large ballrooms in Seattle.
