A Hindu Wedding Mandap at Eagle Mountain Venue in Arlington
An open-air ceremony on the lawn at Eagle Mountain Venue, with a four-post Mandap in blush and ivory drapery, a red and pink silk floral canopy, and jasmine garlands framing the view.
Blush, Ivory and Red, Under Open Sky
This Hindu ceremony took place outdoors at Eagle Mountain Venue in Arlington. We built a four-post Mandap on the lawn, wrapped each post in layered blush and ivory drapery, and crowned the canopy with silk florals in red and pink. Jasmine garlands hang inside the frame, gold seating sits on a white floor covering, and a stone path leads guests from their seats to the Mandap.
What Went Into the Mandap
A Silk Floral Canopy
Red roses, blush peonies and eucalyptus run the full length of the canopy and spill down the corner posts. Every stem is silk, so the florals hold their shape through an outdoor ceremony.
Soft From Every Seat
Layered blush and ivory fabric is gathered at each post and pooled on the ground, so the Mandap reads soft from every angle, including the back rows. The open sides keep the view behind the ceremony in every guest's line of sight.
