How Bradbury Events Began
Bradbury Events started with a simple observation: families planning South Asian ceremonies in the greater Seattle area were struggling to find a decorator who understood both the cultural significance of their celebrations and the modern, elegant aesthetic they wanted. Too often, the options were either generic event companies with no cultural context or traditional vendors whose designs did not match the soft, pastel-forward look that so many couples were searching for.
Our founder, Maquel Bradbury, set out to fill that gap. With certified florist credentials and a growing passion for faux floral design, the early days of Bradbury Events were spent perfecting arrangements, studying ceremony traditions, and building relationships with venues across Snohomish and King County.

The decision to specialize in high-end silk and faux florals was intentional. Fresh flowers wilt under event lighting, trigger allergies, and limit design options. Silk florals allowed us to build arrangements that are more lush, more consistent, and more durable than fresh alternatives, all while photographing beautifully under any conditions. It became our signature.
Since 2017, that signature has grown into a full-service luxury event decor operation. Today, Bradbury Events designs and installs Nikkah partition setups, Mandap stage backdrops, and custom tabletop arrangements for families across the region. We are the exclusive decor partner at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo and have styled ceremonies at community centers in Everett, hotel ballrooms in Bellevue, and private venues in Snohomish and Woodinville.
